And I'm stealing Classic DC comics language pertaining to the time when Jack Kirby moved over there to start on Jimmy Olsen, and believe it or not, the sales pitch written across the cover was "KIRBY'S HERE!" and "DON'T ASK< JUST BUY IT!"...which I thought was always the funniest thing ever.....well, that and the Don Rickles robot that was a character for a while; oh and the time where all these characters are racing twords you on the cover and two of them are holding a sphereical shaped object in the center of the cover with a photograph of Jack Kirby in it!!! Which is completely insane!

what? Why would I ever make up the Don Rickles robot in the pages of Jimmy Olsen (supermans pal) or the DC marketing scheme?? That way too crazy--even for me!
Kirby completely changed that book into the introduction of his Forth World saga...From Jimmy Olsen to believe it or not Darksied!!

well, I wouldn't go that far.......but I did think the contrast range came out well, and the overall look was real close to what I had envisioned! (I always think that's the hardest part, trying to match my inner "vision" to the finished project.)
